City Tech Printmaking


Bringing printmaking back to life in a college that had left it behind


I formed this club to help bring traditional printmaking techniques back into the general awareness of our members in order to ground them more fully in the philosophy and heritage of graphic arts design and production. We worked to offer informative lectures, presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, and field trips for our students to explore all forms of printmaking, including but not limited to screenprint, relief, lithography, and intaglio.





Visiting Artists and Awareness


In the time we were in fine fettle, we managed to invite artists to volunteer their time. We also brought in all the expertise we had in house.


 

Promotion throughout the College






Valentine’s Day


We set up a table for 3 valentine’s Days and invited all passers by to print Valentine’s cards with potatoes. The excitement was always so amazing!
